We had an amazing time at the Grand Canyon! Pictures and words just cannot do it justice. I will post photos from the past many days in a week or so...we've had next to no internet access and definitely not enough to upload photos.
When we left Sedona last Saturday morning, Mike and I went to fill our propane tanks before heading to the Grand Canyon. While we were doing that the kids played some tether ball at the campground. The end result of that was a trip to the Grand Canyon Medical Clinic on Sunday morning for Amy. The diagnosis, a compressed growth plate above her pinky finger on her left hand and a fracture on the finger. We are now in Page, AZ awaiting an appointment with an Orthopedic Specialist who will re-x-ray her hand. The report from the doctor at the Grand Canyon is that there has been some spiral displacement on that pinky. We'll keep you posted as to what the specialist thinks the next step should be.
Despite all that, it hasn't really slowed us down...in fact, we are thankful that we had to stop in Page. We may have just driven right by and instead we have been here for two days enjoying Lake Powell and the surrounding area. We'll post photos of all the exciting things we've done here too once we get a better connection.
Blessings....The Kehler Trailer
