Well, we made our first camping reservation for our big trip! We are booked in Site 57 at Willingdon Beach Campsite in Powell River, BC for two weeks starting June 18. The site is surrounded by trees and right along the ocean with a beautiful sand beach only a few steps away. Sounds heavenly, doesn't it? While we are in Powell River, we'll be visiting our good friends (who happen to also be relatives :-)) the Wriglesworths....and then Mike's bike race comes through Powell River. We can't wait!!! Nana arrived on Boxing Day to spend Christmas with us too. We had a great time visiting with her. Ryan and Kim with Rone and new baby Kye also came to join in on the fun! What a blessing it is to spend time with family at Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas Day with Mike's brother Dan, his wife Aimee and their children Jaelyn, Wesley and Chelsea! Mom and Dad Kehler were with us as well...although not for the sledding :-) and for dinner Grandma Klassen (now 98 years old!) and a family from church joined us. We spent the afternoon on Boxing Day sledding down the slopes. It was a perfect day of relaxing fun!
